Lindy Hop Beginners Weekend Workshop

For: total beginners, as well as anyone who wants to refresh the basics:

Here’s what we’ve got lined up for you…

• For starters you'll spend lots of time just getting comfortable grooving to the music, without even worrying about steps.
• You’ll pick up a couple of Lindy Hop’s core rhythms and classic moves, set to the backdrop of banging jazz tunes from the 1930s and 40s. 
• By the end, you’ll have learned a short routine. And you’ll also be able to “social dance” your way through a whole tune. (Yes, really!)

Day and time: Sunday 23rd March from 2-5pm (with breaks).

Location: Royal British Legion (first floor), 61-63 Bargates, Christchurch BH23 1QE

Wear: comfy, lightweight clothing that you can move in, and flat shoes with a non-sticky sole. Most trainers are fine.

Bring: a bottle of water, snacks, and a spare t-shirt.

Price: £20 per person, or £16 if you grab the early bird ticket.

Important: You need to book in advance. No drop-ins on the day because we're working hard to balance the numbers of leads and follows.
